Last night was daylight savings time, falling back an hour. So 4:15am would have felt like 3:15am. Since I'm still adjusting to the 4:15am schedule, I decided to set my alarm at 5:30am. I hadn't slept much the night before and missed my morning routine, but vowed again to get a workout in that evening. 

Instead of the planned spin, I spent three hours reorganizing the basement storage room into my new pain cave with my wife when we put our little one down, and tested it out with a quick spin to make sure it felt good. I'm happy to report that it's a pretty sweet set-up, and now I don't have to waste the energy heating the garage for a few hours every morning. I can do my weights on the weekends and adjust. As long as I can get a consistent spin in, I'll be fine this winter.
