Week 5
Disclaimer: These are the unfiltered ramblings of a man who is now a father and retracing the steps of his youth to conquer another Ironman triathlon a decade after his first.
Mr. Robot is a show that has me on my toes, and is a great reward now for when I get up. I just finished Stranger Things 2 on Netflix, and I've had enough non-fiction audio books for a while. I only have one good workout playlist that is fresh that I'll mix up my workouts with, so for now I'm entering Elliot's world.
Our little one woke up at One AM this morning, shaking the house with her screams, after 15 minutes trying to figure out what she wanted, we thought we'd try a popsicle in case it were a teething issue or something and "wallah!," it did the trick. Although I had rolled my alarm back to 4:45am this morning (15 minutes earlier than last week), I was dead tired and argued with myself for what I thought was 5 minutes (when in actuality was 45 minutes). When I did get up, I popped out of bed and ran downstairs to the pain cave and did 5 min of core and push ups, and spun for 15 minutes. Now I just have to commit to another 45 minutes this evening after I've put little one down for the night.
